    • Anatomy and biomechanics of the spine
    • Understanding the principles of safe lifting
    • Techniques for lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
  4. Use of Mechanical Aids:
    • Types of mechanical aids and equipment
    • Safe use of lifting aids and devices
    • Maintenance and inspection of equipment
  5. Developing Safe Systems of Work:
    • Planning and organizing manual handling tasks

Knowledge

Qualifications Obtained

Entry Requirements

We will carry out a profile assessment to determine the duration of training required for those with limited or no experience.

Location

Training can be conducted onsite or at the Bridgend Training Facility.
